First Nations People continue to experience historical, systematic entrenched disadvantage in Australia. Employment and jobs are one of the keys to improving the lives of Indigenous Australians.

Both Vivid Indigenous Services and Vivid Property Services are seeking to address this by providing employment opportunities for First Nations People.

Actively pursuing corporate and government clients that will accept a pre-commitment to resource their contract with a percentage of Indigenous employees.

Some of the ways we do this are:

We continue to place Indigenous employees in management and leadership positions.

When using recruitment agencies, we only engage those that are registered with or certified by Supply Nation.

When tendering for government contracts, we give undertakings to resource the contract with a pre-committed percentage of Indigenous employees.

We connect with Indigenous communities and encourage our Indigenous employees to engage their networks.

We offer young Indigenous employees an Indigenous mentor to provide both professional and social support.

Our employee assistance provider is committed to providing the best possible experience for First Nations employees. This includes elevating cultural competency across its business and providing a dedicated support line for First Nations employees.
